REUSE, RECYCLE, REMEMBER

Members have used old plastic drink bottles, to make 100s of stylised poppies for their own, public tribute, to all service personnel that have lost their lives, fighting for our country.

 

Residents of Ashtead helped by collecting their bottles but WIng needed a lot more and contacted the Leatherhead Community Recycling Centre at Randells Road, Leatherhead. They were more than happy to help, including, cutting, washing and delivering  massive, bags of the plastic bottles.

 

WIng’s public tribute was on display at Craddocks Parade, Craddocks Avenue, Ashtead from 1st November to 1st December 2019.
