January - The history of makeup

Our very own Trisha from Tropic Skincare came and told us all about the itneresting things that are put into our skincare products and makeup.

March - Speed Dating

3 minutes of getting to know lots of other members gave us plenty to chat about!

April - Belly Dancing

The lovely Nellie had us twirling our hips and scarfs to some Egyptian music.

May - Resolutions with Bingo for bubbles

We learnt about the new resolutions for this year and took a vote for our personal favourites. Entertainment afterwards of Bingo for bottles of bubbles!

June - Gin tasting

A little lesson in the art of local gin making from the man with his own Unique Selling Point of collecting his juniper berries from Box Hill and having to culivate these tricky trees to create a new generation of juniper bushes. All complimented by the flavours of some yummy food.

July - Murderous Women

Retired policeman David Chave gave us a talk on history of notorious women serial killers and their motives

October - Poppy Making

Getting ready for our big display of remembrance at Craddocks parade, making poppies from bottle ends.

November - AGM & Christmas decorations

We chose our Presidents and committee and had a recap of the fun we've had this year, with a few Christmas decorations made for our tree at St. George's Christmas Tree Festival.

December - Food and Songs

Lesley Stewart, Karen D'Souza & Sarah Dawson all put together their foodie heads and made us a beautiful buffet to enjoy after we had a little Christmas serenade and songs from Sophie Lee.
